Clean Slate

You attempt to reshape another creature's memories. One creature that you can see must make a Wisdom saving throw(DC 19). If you are fighting the creature, it has advantage on the saving throw. On a failed save, the target becomes stunned by you for the duration. The stunned target is incapacitated and unaware of its surroundings, though it can still hear you. If it takes any damage or is targeted by another spell, this spell ends, and none of the target's memories are modified.

While this charm lasts, you can affect the target's memory of any event that it experienced and lasted any duration. You can permanently eliminate all memory of the event, allow the target to recall the event with perfect clarity and exacting detail, change its memory of the details of the event, or create a memory of some other event.

You must decide on the memory you wish to target within the incapacitated creature. Putting a finger to the targets head, you pull a memory, an idea, or a message from their mind and transform it into a tangible string of glowing energy called a thought strand. The thought strand appears in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you as a Tiny, weightless, semisolid object that can be held and carried like a ribbon. It is otherwise stationary.

This stolen, encoded memory is now removed from the memory of the creature. It can be altered and returned, replaced with another memory, or kept by you.

This memory cannot be returned via greater restoration or remove curse. Creature may only regain its memory by having the memory strand returned.
