Shoot a skein of spider silk up to 60ft at a creature, solid surface or object moving away from you. If the target is not a stationary surface, it must make a dexterity saving throw against your spell DC which they can choose to fail. On a failed save, the spider silk adheres to the target and you may choose to either retain your grip of the silk at your end or adhere it to the nearest surface (which could also be you!). The DM will decide what happens if you cast the spell at a target larger, heavier, or stronger than yourself.
You may cast an additional skein with each level at which this is upcast. The skein has a tensile strength of 1000 pounds but is vulnerable to being dispelled.
