A spectral, floating chain appears at a point you choose within range. The chain is 15 feet long with a 2 inch diameter. It has an AC of 15, a health of 10, and a Strength of 12 . The chain lasts for the duration or until you dismiss it as a bonus action. The chain vanishes if it is ever more than 100 feet away from you or if you cast this spell again.
You can use your action to control the chain. You can use the chain to grapple onto an enemy that is of medium size or lower. If the chain successfully grapples an enemy, the chain is wrapped around the enemy and can not be hit without hitting the enemy as well. While the enemy is grappled, it takes 1d4 bludgeoning damage every turn. While the enemy is grappled, as an action, you can move the grappled enemy and the chain 5 feet in any direction. If the enemy escape the grapple, the chain is destroyed. You can also use the chain to wrap up items and pick them up. You can move the chain up to 35 feet each time you use it.
The chain can't activate magical items, attack in any other way besides grappling, carry living beings, or carry more then 150 pounds.
The chain grows in size when you reach higher levels. At 5th level, it becomes 30 feet, is able to grapple large creatures, deals 1d6 damage every turn to a grappled foe, can carry 200 pounds, and has a strength of 14. At 13th level, it is 45 feet, is able to grapple huge creatures, deals 1d8 damage every turn to a grappled foe, can carry 250 pounds, and has a strength of 16.
