Cause Scrofula

You point to one living, humanoid creature you can see within range and force it to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature's neck immediately breaks out in throbbing, scrofulous lesions, its Maximum Hit Points score is reduced by 5, and it is poisoned until cured. Every 24 hours until cured of the disease, the creature can repeat the saving throw, recovering from the disease on success or reducing its Maximum Hit Points score by an additional 5 points and gaining one level of exhaustion on a failure. Until the disease is cured, the creature cannot benefit from a short or long rest and healing spells and potions are only 50% effective.
