An invisible dome of magical force appears targeted on yourself and protects you and those standing close to you. Until the start of your next turn, you and everyone within 5 feet of you has a +5 bonus to AC, including against the triggering attack, and everyone within 5 feet of you takes no damage from magic missile.

Instead of making a saving throw vs. cone attacks and breath attacks, the caster can do a contested roll with their spell modifier vs. the saving throw value. If the caster succeeds this contested roll, the damage is completely mitigated, with everyone in the dome taking no damage. If the caster fails this contested roll, everyone can make their saving throw as normal, taking half damage on failed saves and no damage on successful ones.
