You choose a small object or creature from your memory and cause a creature you can see to suffer from recurring hallucinations of what you chose. Creatures that can't be charmed are immune to this effect. The hallucinations may appear within the target's peripheral vision, between blinks, or just out of sight, and appears at the DM's discretion. The hallucination may only be accompanied by silence or an ambient sound that it would reasonably produce, and cannot communicate with, alarm, or deafen the target on its own. The chosen object or creature may also appear in dreams or be heard mentioned in misunderstood speech.
You may alternatively specify up to three conditions that will trigger a hallucination during the duration. For example, the sight of an apple might trigger the target to see a hallucination of worms in the apple if a worm was the chosen creature when this spell was cast. If any triggers are specified, the hallucination will not occur at random.
The target may make a Wisdom saving throw at the end of every long rest once they are aware of their condition. On a failed save, the target remains under the spell's effect. A successful save or the Remove Curse spell ends this spell, and the creature is immune to this spell's effects for the next week.
