Aspects of the Storm

Whisps of grey stormcloud and harmless trails of lightning surround your form closely as you imbue yourself with primordial storm magic. This spell is created with 8 charges. You can expend these charges to cause any of the effects below throughout the duration.

• As a bonus action, you can expend 1 or more charges to increase your walking speed and any flying speed you possess by 10 feet for each charge expended until the end of your turn. If you have no flying speed, this effect grants you a flying speed equal to 10 feet per charge expended for the same duration.
• When you make a Dexterity saving throw or ability check, you can expend 1 or more charges to gain a +2 bonus to the check for each charge you expend (no action required). You can do so before or after you roll, but only before the result is determined .
• At the start of the round of combat, you can expend 2 charges to increase your current initiative by 5. You can only use this effect once per round.
• Once per round, you can expend 3 charges to take a reaction without requiring or expending your reaction. This can not allow you to use more than one reaction per trigger.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you gain 4 additional charges for each slot level above 2nd.
