As a part of the action the user must perform a melee attack.
The caster must extend his ring and middle finger straight out, while keeping the rest of his fingers down towards it's palm. The weapon or armor piece of their choice begins to give off a black aura that looks similar to steam. On hit, the target suffers the attack's normal effects, and is hit by a second shock wave of black aura. The attacker receives weapon recoil from the shock as it drives the target in the direction of the swing. Shockwave damage is determined by 1d8 and counts as bludgeoning damage. If the caster chooses to use his bare hands, or legs, they receive half of the shockwave damage.
This spells damage increases as you level up. At the 5th level gain two shockwaves (2d8), and gains another shockwave every five levels. At level 17 use a d12 instead of a d8.
