You exert your will over a creature's handwear or footwear, which comes to life at your command. Choose a creature you can see within range that is wearing footwear or handwear (it must actually cover their hands or feet, not wrists or ankles). They must make a Charisma saving throw. On a success, nothing happens. On a failure, choose handwear or footwear. Either action renders the choice unremoveable, and you may use a bonus action to activate the effect on your turn.
Handwear. On each of their turns (no action required) while the spell is active, you may command the handwear to move in any way you wish. This grants you control of the target's hands as long as the handwear remains intact. This can involve attacking, using an object, or anything that uses hands.
Footwear. On each of your turns as a bonus action while the spell is active, you may use your control to make the wearer move in any direction you wish.
Either way, they also cannot control whichever limbs you chose.
