A stream of slick grease forming a line 100 feet long and 5 feet wide blasts out from you in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d6 force damage and is knocked prone. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and isn't knocked prone.

The grease coats the area and lingers for 1 minute; a creature that enters the area or ends its turn there must also succeed on a Dex saving throw or fall prone.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
