You create a 15-foot-radius sphere of freezing mist centered on a point within range. The sphere spreads around corners, and its area is heavily obscured. The mist lingers in the air for the duration or until a wind of moderate or greater speed (at least 10 miles per hour) disperses it.
When a creature enters the spell's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, that creature must make a Constitution saving throw. The creature takes 3d6 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The movement speed of each creature that is completely within the mist has it's speed reduced by 10 feet.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd-level or higher, it's damage is increased by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd.
