Arching Chain

You extend your hand towards a creature within range making a ranged spell attack against that creature. Electricity arcs towards the target dealing 1d6 lightning damage, then up to one other creature of your choice within 10 ft. of the initial target takes lightning damage equal to your spell casting modifier.

This spell’s damage increases when you reach certain levels. At 5th level, the initial attack deals an extra 1d6 lightning damage to the target on a hit, and you can choose an additional creature for the lightning to arc to. The damage roll and number of additional targets increase by 1d6 and one at 11th level (3d6 and up to three targets) and 17th level (4d6 and up to four targets.)
