You destroy a large area centered around a point within the Material Plane. The terrain, buildings, people, culture, families, friends, allies, enemies, dungeons, dragons, mountains, hills, and even oceans are destroyed. That area turns into an empty void, however, this spell is unable to destroy the entire world, only a fraction of it (think destroying an area the size of Florida). If you wish to use this spell (for some stupid reason), this spell will not protect you from the wrath of the DM (be prepared to fight 17 ancient black dragons).

Posted Mar 10, 2024This is worse in both gameplay and thematics. All that time wasted just do very little damage compared to the original, the DM really wouldn't care since this doesn't affect them at all and can be easily reversed. The original was so overkill yet somewhat balanced with over a month casting time required that it made it funny and interesting.

Posted May 28, 2025Well, does it destroy an area the size of florida in a sphere shape, a rectangle, a star, or a cylinder? It's obviously three dimensional, but does it create a bottomless void, or does it tunnel through the other side of the planet? Or, what if you cast this spell on a different plane, such as Ravincia? Does it destroy the notion of culture, or just the physical embodyments? Speaking of Ravincia, Ravincia is infinite, so would it break rality and space by destroying an area? WHAT HAPPENS?!?!
