This spell is cast with a subtle phrase and wave of three fingers. Choose up to 4 willing creatures within range.
For the duration, whenever an affected creature speaks out loud, they can encrypt a second meaning behind what they say. Only other affected creatures understand this encrypted meaning -- any unaffected creature hears only the spoken message, unaware that a magical second message is laced within.
A creature using a Detect Thoughts spell or similar magic understands the encrypted message. Additionally, a creature that can see invisibility spots a pair of spectral lips imposed over an affected creature's mouth, revealing the encrypted message.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you can target two additional creatures for each slot level above 1st.
