This spell can only be cast while you are outdoors. When you cast this spell, a lightning bolt, colored as you like, strikes you, and you gain 1d6 + 3 temporary hit points for the duration. Your eyes also turn the same color as the color you chose for the duration.

The instant the lighting strikes, electricity shoots out from you, and all creatures within a 10 foot radius must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d6 lightning damage. On a successful save, a creature only takes half as much damage. 

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the temporary hit points increase by 4, for each slot level above 2nd.
