With the combined power of Oobu and the caster, the curse put on Oobu is temporarily broken, and a ghostly silhouette of him appears at a point within range. After your next turn, Oobu will speak his supernatural words, which affect a 30-foot cone centered on his apparition in a direction chosen by the caster. This time, Oobu's words are at full power, enchanting anyone who hears them. Each creature in range must make a Wisdom saving throw with disadvantage and roll a d10 to determine the spell's effects. Each creature experiences Oobu's majesty in their own personal way, according to said roll. On a successful Wisdom save the effects of the spell on a target last only 1 minute. On a failed save, the spell's effects last for 1 year. The spell's effects cannot be removed short of a Wish spell. The possible effects are as follows:
- - The target is compelled by Oobu to obey the caster. The target becomes a mindless, completely obedient servant that will obey your commands in combat to fight until it dies.
- - Oobu's attractiveness and sexual language force the target to orgasm very intensely for 5 minutes straight. After that, it gains 5 levels of exhaustion.
- - Oobu's extreme persuasion forces a target to fully and truthfully answer every question you ask it.
- - Oobu solicits a target so effectively that they hand over every possession they have and all their currency to you.
- - The target is put in a crisis by Oobu's troubling words and goes insane. The target must roll a d20 every turn. On a natural 1, the target commits suicide, killing itself instantly.
- - Oobu accidentally recites the incantation for a spell. The caster can choose any spell that has only Verbal components or Verbal and Somatic components and cast that spell for free.
- - Oobu recites his life story to the target, including accidentally saying the invocation that Tharizdoon used to turn him into a book. The target's body instantly disappears, and its soul is trapped inside a random object it is wielding or wearing. If the target has nothing equipped, its soul enters the nearest unequipped item. The target now acts and behaves much like Oobu, with its own quirks and features decided by the DM.
- - Oobu's hypnotic chants reach deep into the target's brain, and the target's entire memory is wiped. They behave as if they were an infant, and must relearn how to walk, talk, etc.
- - The target joins the Oobu hive mind and must cast Oobu's Wondrous Words (DC 20 Wis) in a random direction on its turn. After that, the target wanders the world aimlessly.
- - Reroll the d10 and use the new result. After the end of your next turn, you can command Oobu to move up to 30 feet in any direction and speak again, effectively casting the spell again.
After Oobu speaks (unless a 10 is rolled), his soul retreats back into the book. This spell cannot be used for another 2 weeks.
