The spell is able to be casted with multiple spell slots. Based on how many spell slots are used, and the level of the spell determines how many dice are rolled for damage. For each spell slot, equals the combined total levels of used slots.
For example: if you use a single level 1 spell slot, and a level 2 slot, you roll 3 sets of the dice for damage. (Or: lvl 1 slot + lvl 2 slot = 3 sets of damage dice).
When damage is rolled, and the target failed the saving throw, the castor may choose one of 2 options:
1) they may gain health equal to 1/4th of the damage dealt to target
2) Castor can themselves take equal to 1/4th of the damage dealt themselves, and add an additional 1/4th of the damage to their roll on target (the castor taking 1/4th of that damage would not cause the spell to only do full damage, but full damage and 1/4th (for example: Damage: 28. Castor chooses to take 7 damage. Target takes full 28+7 damage= 35)
Dice for damage is as follows per level/per total amount of sets:
1) D4
1) D6
1) D8
1) D10
1) D12
If castor uses spell slots equal to minimum level 3 (1 level 1 slot, 1 lvl 2 slot, ect.) then they may also add a d20. d20 amount only goes up by every 3 levels after 3rd level (for example, at level 4, only 1 d20, but use 6 level equivalent, and you may cast 2d20. as well as levels, 9. 12, 15, ect.)
Castor may choose targets in area that may not be affected (Allies, npcs, ect.)
Damage is Necrotic.
