Bubble Beam

A line of rainbowy bubbles 30 feet long and 5 feet wide effervesces from you in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 6d4 Force damage on a failed save; the bubbles are sticky and if not avoided, when they pop, their film clings to the target and slows down their movement briefly, reducing their speed by 10 feet for a round. A successful save deals only half damage, and doesn't slow the target.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 2d4 for each slot level above 2nd.
