When cast, you become restrained and must choose one of the following spirit forms to embody.
Oak. A bright green illusory tree grows around you to a height of 15 feet. You are still visible inside the illusion. The illusion has an AC equal to yours and hit points equal to half your maximum HP. While this illusion is active, you cannot cast spells, move, or attack and must use the following skillset.
Action(s). As an action, you can project an aura with a radius of 30 feet. This aura lasts for the duration of the spell and increases the AC of allies by 1.
As an action, you can pry roots out of the ground to attack a creature. The attack has a range of 60 feet and deals 1d8 plus your Wisdom modifier in Force damage.
Bonus Action(s). As a bonus action, you can focus your aura, if active, to augment an ally’s reaction. You temporarily remove the area of effect of the aura until the beginning of your next turn. You grant an ally a 1d4 to add to their AC as their reaction. An ally can only be affected by this once per short rest.
As a bonus action, you can make roots move the earth in a tandem 15 foot area, in any direction within range. The affected area becomes difficult terrain. If a creature is in the affected area when the roots begin, they must roll a DEX saving throw. A successful roll applies no effect, failing the saving throw knocks the creature prone.
Reaction. As a reaction, you can lift a root between a creature and an ally, if that ally is within the range of your active aura and being targeted for an attack. Doing so applies disadvantage to the attack roll. An ally can only be targeted by this reaction once per short rest.
Willow. A bright yellow illusory tree grows around you to a height of 15 feet. You are still visible inside the illusion. The illusion has an AC equal to yours and hit points equal to half your maximum HP. While this illusion is active, you cannot cast spells, move, or attack and must use the following skillset.
Action(s). As an action, you can project an aura with a radius of 20 feet. This aura lasts for the duration of the spell and while an allied creature is inside the aura, they gain 1d6 of healing and 1d4 of temporary hit points at the beginning of their turn. Every three Druid levels, increase the healing by 1d6 and the temporary hit points by 1d4.
As an action, you can focus your active aura onto a single ally and heal them for 1d8 plus half your Druid level rounded up. This action dismisses the active aura. Every three Druid levels, increase the healing by 1d8.
Bonus Action(s). As a bonus action, you can unearth vines to hinder movement in a 10 foot square. Any creature that starts or ends their turn in the affected area must roll a DEX saving throw. A successful save results in half movement through the affected area. A failed save reduces the creature’s movement to 0 until the beginning of their next turn, upon which the area is simply treated as difficult terrain.
Reaction. As a reaction, you can dismiss the spell early to apply 2d6 temporary hit points to yourself and any allied creature within 10 feet of you. You can use this reaction only if you or an ally within 10 feet is targeted for an attack, after the attack roll but before the damage roll.
If the illusory tree is attacked and brought to 0 hit points, the spell ends early and you are stunned until the beginning of your next turn. If an ally is within 5 feet of you when the spell ends early, the expended magic restores their reaction if they have already used it this turn.
