The caster causes ice formations to erupt in a cone 30 ft from themselves. Any creature caught in the cone must make a dexterity saving throw or take 3d6 cold damage, or half as much on a successful save and causes the area to become difficult terrain. At the start of the caster's next turn all creatures inside the cone must make a dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 3d6 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful save.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
