As an action, you touch a creature and cause a crystalline structure to cover their forearm and hand. The hand can articulate like a glove and allows for a surprising amount of dexterity. If the creature is missing any part of their arm or hand, the crystalline structure forms into a prosthetic that retains all the functionality of the original member until the spell ends.

As a reaction to taking bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, the creature with the glass hand can interpose their hand between themselves and the blow, reducing the damage taken by 2d4. If the damage is taken as the result of an attack made from within 5 feet, the attacker takes an amount of piercing damage equal to the damage reduced. When the glass hand is used in this manner, the spell ends and the hand is gone.

Finally, the glass hand is a fragile structure and can be broken by a pointed strike. The Hand has 25 hit points of its own that do not contribute to the hit points of the wielder and the hand has an AC equal to the wielder's AC +5. If the glass hand is destroyed by a pointed attack, both the wielder and the attacker take 2d4 piercing damage.
