Blood Spear

Thin spears of frozen blood burst from a recently dead corpse, impaling its ally a few feet away.

Select a target creature or recently dead corpse* within range. If the target is unwilling, they make a constitution save. If the target fails the save, is willing, or is dead, this spell continues. 3 blood spears burst out of the target, dealing d4 piercing damage each. If another target is within 5ft of the initial one, you may send spears their way. They take d6 piercing damage per spear.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a higher level, add one additional spear for each level above 1st.

*Does not have to be a full body, even a hand has enough blood to fuel a charge of this spell. Recently dead means within one minute of death.
