When casting this spell, you and any willing creature within 5 feet of you of your choice are transported to an extradimensional space. The space is dimly lit and filled with seemingly infinite rows of shelves, all filled with books on various matters. Any attempt to cast a spell within the extradimensional space automatically fails. Any creature within the extradimensional space may ask a simple question and make an investigation check (the DC is set by the DM depending on the question) to search for a book containing the answer. Alternatively a creature may declare “No question” and abstain from the search.
Once an hour has passed in the material plane, or every creature within the extradimensional space that asked a question has completed their search, every creature within the extradimensional space returns to the original casting location and the spell ends.
The books found by this spell remain in the material plane for 24 hours after the spell ends.
