You summon a metallic ranged weapon that requires two hands to wield that appears directly above you and close enough that you're able to grasp it instantaneously. The weapon counts as a magical martial ranged weapon that only you have proficiency in and holds only one piece of magical ammunition.
As an action, you can shoot the summoned weapon on your turn to a range of 130 feet. Each creature within a 20-foot radius of the targeted point must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell DC. A target takes 6d10 force damage and on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The weapon can not be used again unless it's reloaded with it's own type of magical ammunition.
The 20-foot radius area within the targeted point is now counted as difficult terrain.
The weapon is dismissed after the duration of the spell and reloads if the spell is cast again. If the weapon is already loaded when the spell is cast again, the weapon explodes and behaves as if it had just been shot in the same area as the one wielding the weapon.
This weapon can take whatever form you choose. As an artificer, it might be a large cannon; a chained gun; a giant firecracker or a rocket.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell with a spell slot at 5th-level or higher, the weapon's damage increases by 1d10 for each spell slot above 4th.
