Analyse

You scan a device or object you can touch, marking it and allowing a small drone equipped with high tech scanners to begin analysing the object, which takes 1 hour for a tiny object, and twice as long for every size category larger. 

At the end of the scanning period, a report is generated on the item, including its purpose and function, blueprints and schematics of the items parts and components, a detailed breakdown of the materials used and their properties, and a copy of any data or coding stored within the item. If it is a magic item or some other magic-imbued object, you learn its properties and how to use them, whether it requires attunement to use, and how many charges it has, if any. You learn whether any spells are affecting the item and what they are. If the item was created by a spell, you learn which spell created it. You also learn the process through which it was enchanted or constructed and any major components required for this purpose.

If you instead touch a creature throughout the casting, you learn what spells, if any, are currently affecting it, if its affected by any diseases or conditions as well as identifying its species, whether it has any innate magical abilities, and its genetic makeup.

The scanning drone will retain this information for 1 hour, or until its been transfered to an external storage device.

The scanner is able to detect extra-dimensional structures and features, but can only report its existence, and cannot scan anything that is not within the same plane or dimension as it.

At higher levels: For every level above 3rd which this spell is cast, decrease the amount of time an item takes to scan by 1 size category (min. 1 hour).
