Adaptive Resistance

When hit with bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, you use your reaction to utter a cry of pain that triggers a magical protective adaptation of your skin to the type of damage taken. You take the full damage of the triggering attack, however you gain resistance to that type of damage for the next minute. If you are hit with a different type of triggering damage while the spell is active, your skin instead attunes to resist that type of damage. While attuned to resist slashing, your skin takes on the black, sludgy appearance of an ooze. While attuned to resist piercing, it takes on the look of iron. And while attuned to resist bludgeoning, it appears as sone.
