Bjorn's Favor

Allow a target to become a Werebear for 24 hours. Must be ritually cast. If cast by a High Gothi of the Blood Moon, the effect is permanent. Note: it is traditional for the target to slay the bear themselves in single combat and bring back the necessary components.

To cast the spell, create a circle with the 13 Stones of Thistle Rock and mix the blood of the bear and caster within the clay pot. Lather the target's face with the blood of the bear and caster, then have the target don the bear pelt over their head, then have them perform a dance within the circle to prove the strength of their ancestors(STR-Athletics check DC-15). If successful, the target shall turn into a werebear and will be able to turn to their hybrid/bear form once per short rest. Whether the ritual is successful or not, the pelt is disintegrated.

Once a werebear, there are three forms, humanoid, hybrid, and bear. In hybrid form, you are able to use weapons that you have equipped other than light, finesse, and range (unless thrown).

Humanoid: Damage Resistance: Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing from Nonmagical Attacks that aren't Silvered.

Hybrid/Bear:

Stats increased: movement +10 ft, climbing +30, STR +5 (Capable of going over 20), CON +3 (Capable of going over 20), Health (Level+CON Ability Modifier)X5, perception +7 (All of these are added to the target's original score)

Damage Resistance: Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing from Nonmagical Attacks that aren't Silvered.

AC: (11+ Dex) +Armor value (If you have armor tailored to your bear/hybrid form)

Keen Smell: Advantage on wisdom (perception) checks that rely on smell.

Bite: Melee weapon attack, STR modifier + proficiently to hit, (2d10 + Str modifier) piercing damage.

Claw: Melee weapon attack, (STR modifier + proficiently to hit), (2d8 +Str modifier) slashing damage.
