Attune Tuning Fork (Plane Shift / Teleport)

As you cast the spell, you draw a 10-foot-diameter circle on the ground inscribed with sigils that links and attunes your exact current location on your current plane of existence to a specially crafted forked metal rod (tuning fork) made of specialized materials placed in the center of it. This tuning fork can then be used with the Plane Shift spell. It will also be able to function as a 'portable' Teleportation Circle of sorts for the Teleport spell (permanent "Associated Object"), at the DM's discretion.

This spell can also be used to 'copy' the attunement of another tuning fork (location), or even be attuned to another tuning fork itself, by placing an 'empty' tuning fork next to another, within the 10-foot-diameter circle inscribed with sigils. If a tuning fork is attuned to another tuning fork (not a location), casting the Plane Shift or Teleport spell using it will transport the caster to the location of the other tuning fork, appearing within 5 feet of it, or in the nearest unoccupied space, at the DM's discretion. Two or more tuning forks can be attuned to each other in this way. Each tuning fork can only be attuned to either one location, or one other tuning fork.

This attunement can be dispelled magically from a tuning fork, by a successful casting of the Dispel Magic spell, a similar spell or magical effect of equivalent effect and power, or one that is more powerful, at the DM's discretion.

After casting this spell, the tuning fork is impervious to most non-magical damage, however, a Disintegrate spell, a similar spell or magical effect of equivalent effect and power, or one that is more powerful, or even one good hit from a +2 magic weapon or stronger, is sufficient to destroy the tuning fork as well, at the DM's discretion.
