You create an area in which the laws of the multiverse act as you desire in a 5,000 ft radius sphere centered at a point that you can see. You place a black sapphire and a diamond worth 5,000gp each onto a beam scale as part of casting this spell over the course of an hour. At the end of the casting time, the gemstones are consumed and the area you designate while casting this spell becomes under the effects of your choosing.
You may alter, add, or remove any physical, natural, or spiritual law within the spheres radius which lasts for 7 days. You may choose to have one of the following alterations inside of the sphere:
- Gravity is magnified, lessened, or non-existent inside of the sphere.
- Any creatures that dies inside the radius of the sphere also has their soul destroyed.
- All colors become different colors of your choosing inside the sphere, such as the green of plant life becomes blue.
- Directions are inverted; up becomes down and left becomes right.
- Creatures can physically feel what they see, have the ability to see sounds, or some other change to sense.
You may alter any law outside of the scope of the above examples, stating the exact changes to your GM as precisely as possible. You may only declare one law that is altered inside of the sphere, if you alter more than one law the spell ends and has no effects. The GM may decide how the changes of a specific law affects other natural laws in the radius of the sphere. Any changes inside of the sphere immediately revert to the normal laws of the plane you are currently on upon leaving the spheres radius.
If the spell is used to maintain the same alterations to law in the same location for 6 consecutive uses, or 42 days, the effects become permanent.
The stress of casting this spell to alter the laws of the multiverse weakens you. After enduring that stress, each time you cast a spell until you finish a long rest, you take 1d10 necrotic damage per level of that spell. This damage can't be reduced or prevented in any way. In addition, your Strength drops to 3, if it isn't 3 or lower already, for 2d4 days. For each of those days that you spend resting and doing nothing more than light activity, your remaining recovery time decreases by 2 days. Finally, there is a 33 percent chance that you are unable to cast law ever again if you suffer this stress.
