You snip of bit of luck from the web and weave of magic itself to allow your target to have a better chance to fulfill a desired actions. When you cast the spell, you give the target of the spell a d4.
Once during the duration of the spell, when the creature affected by this spell makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, they can roll that d4 and add the number rolled to the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw. When you no longer have a d4 provided by this spell, the spell ends.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you give the target an additional d4 for each slot level above 1st. These d4's can be rolled together, but only one die can be added the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw. A die that was rolled but not added to the primary roll is still expended from the pool of d4s provided by this spell.
