You touch a closed door, window, gate, or other passageway, and it becomes protected for the duration. An invisible barrier forms on the designated side of the passageway, turning into a wavering red field when someone attempts to touch the door. You and the creatures you designate when you cast this spell can open the object normally. Other creatures who try to touch the door will be blocked by the field. Melee attacks made against the field bounce off with force, dealing 1d6 bludgeoning damage to the attacking creature. Ranged attacks and spells are deflected off the field as well. You can also set a password that, when spoken within 5 feet of the object, suppresses this spell for 1 minute. Otherwise, it is impassable until the spell is dispelled or suppressed. Casting knock on the object suppresses this spell for 10 minutes.
