This spell is functional only for Slime and Plasmoid races. Plasmoid and Slimes are immune to this spell.
When used on others, the user covers the target with their slime body whether alive or dead. If the target is alive (has hit points), it must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 1d8 + proficiency + Con mod).
If the target succeeds on the saving throw, the user disengages. If failed, the target takes 1d6 acid damage and must make the Constitution saving throw each turn. The user becomes locked in the grapple status until the target succeeds in the saving throw and cannot perform any other actions, bonus actions, or cast spells until the spell is dispelled or the target succeeds in the saving throw. If the targets hit points are reduced to zero (0) while still under the effects of this spell, they are absorbed into the user's body instantly. At higher levels: Upon reaching level 8, increase the damage to 1d8 acid damage.
If used on self, the user may transform into any creature or race they have previously absorbed whose challenge rating is equal to half or lower than the user's level and use any abilities those creatures or races have naturally. The user cannot absorb other targets while transformed. (Note: This spell does not replicate any spells or abilities related to classes). At higher levels: At level 8, you can now transform into creatures whose challenge rating is equal to or lower than your current level.
Additional Note: The user is unable to transform into creatures of the Undead variety.
