You touch the corpse of a creature within range that has flesh, partially animating it into a suit of festering armor.
The armor clambers onto a willing creature that is not wearing armor within 5 ft. of it. The target's AC becomes 15 + its Dexterity modifier. The armor exudes a fetid stench - a creature other than the wearer that starts its turn within 5 ft. of the wearer must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or be Poisoned until the start of its next turn. A creature that succeeds on this saving throw is immune to this poisoning effect for 1 hour.
The armor remains animated for 24 hours, at which point the armor collapses into an inert mass of flesh and bone. You can cast this spell on this armor before the 24 hour period ends, reanimating the armor for an additional 24 hours. The spell also ends if the target dons armor, if you dismiss the spell as an action, or if the armor is affected by an effect that turns Undead.
