Banishment (...)

A weapon of your choice that you're holding in at least one hand is banished, and a scar, tattoo or other visual marking appears somewhere on your skin. The appearance and location of this mark is up to you. The mark emanates an aura of conjuration around it to anybody that can detect magic.

A sentient weapon banished in this way can still communicate with you normally as if you were carrying it. You are still considered to be carrying the weapon for the purposes of maintaining attunement on a magic weapon.

At any point during the spell's duration you can conjure the weapon requiring no additional action beyond drawing it. When you do so, the next attack that you make with that weapon on that turn is made at advantage and you can add an additional 1d8 of the weapon's damage type to the damage of that attack if it hits. Whether or not an attack is made, the spell ends at the end of the turn in which you conjured the weapon.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage added to your next attack after the weapon is conjured increases by 1d8 for every two slot levels above 1st.
