You call forth a sprite from your back to protect you and/or attack for you. This sprite is completely bloody bone with red eyes, horns, and dragon like wings. The sprite can change its size according to the caster, becoming no bigger than a baby dragon. While this sprite is active, the user cannot move or attack unless the sprite is recalled. The tattoo comes to life on the casters back, and will leave a bloody imprint of where it was as if it ripped itself from the casters body. As it flies through the air, blood is thrown around from its body. The Sprite is pretty much invincible, but with one major flaw. While the sprite cant be killed, its caster is left vulnerable to attacks while the sprite is being used. If the Caster is attacked while using this spell, the Blood Sprite will be destroyed and you will have to wait until you heal the imprint to use it again.

Important Note: When using this spell, you cannot wear any type of cuirass for Armor. If you do, the Sprite will not be able to leave your back. This spell requires the Blood Sprite to leave you body. Once its recalled, the Blood Sprite will return to this same spot.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd. It will also take life from targets and give 1d8 to the caster.

At Higher Levels: When you reach 5th level, you will be able to summon one additional Blood Sprite. You are now able to keep one summoned Sprite as a creature companion if you choose.

At Higher Levels: At 7th level, you will be able to summon a total of 3 Blood Sprite's to fight by your side. Or you can Summon One Blood Sprite, and fight side by side.
