Pick two creatures withing range that you can see, and are within 60-feet of each other. Planting a piece of your psychic power in these two creatures, you form a psychic feesback loop between them. This power quickly resonates and grows in intensity, piercing the minds of your targets and all caught in between.

Your targets form a 5-foot-wide spike of psychic energy between them as the spell reaches its peak. They and any creatures caught along this line must make a Wisdom save or take 8d6 psychic damage. A successful save reduces this damage by half.
