As you hold two fingers up, a thin 'blade' of flames about 2 inches long shoots forth from your fingertips. You can use this blade to cut through object (such as manacles or a lock). An object takes 2d8 fire damage per turn you spend with the blade pressed against it.
The fire ignites any flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
It can also be used for a crude form of welding at your DM's discretion.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 2nd. (Maximum of 5d8)
