On a failed save, they are pushed as close to the edge of the sphere as possible (until they reach the edge or are stopped by an object) as though they were falling (using the falling damage calculation for the distance travelled when they are stopped by and object) in addition, they take 15d8 + 50 force damage and are knocked prone. On a successful save they are pushed as close to half way between them and the edge of the sphere as possible (still taking damage as though they were falling if they are stopped by an object), take half damage (falling damage is also halved), and are not knocked prone.
