Animate Scrap

1 non magical object made of metal or 1lb of loose metal scrap (Such as a ball bearings or caltrops)  animates briefly at your call. The target of this spell must be within 15ft of you, and must not be worn or carried by another person or the spell fails.

As part of the casting of this spell you choose a space within range and the object moves to its destination. If it has no means of mobility the spell creates some such as a wheel, propeller, or legs that carry it that are made of the same material as the material components of this spell. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 2d4 force damage.

The spell animates more than one object when you reach higher levels - two objects at 5th level, three objects at 11th level, and four objects at 17th level. you can direct the objects at the same target or at different ones.
