You blight a creature within range with mold and fungus that begins growing on the insides of their organs. They must make a Constitution saving throw. On a fail, the blight takes hold. For the duration, the target can’t speak or cast spells that require verbal components, their speed is halved, and they have disadvantage on ability checks and on Dexterity and Strength saving throws, as the mold threatens to choke their organs to failure. If a creature drops to 0 hit points under these effects, that creature dies.

The creature can repeat this save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a successful save.
