You summon an illusory version of yourself, which appears in a 5ft cube within range. The illusion proceeds to dance mockingly whilst dishing out insults to your enemies. Each creature of your choice within 20ft of the illusion who see or hear it, must make a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, the creature becomes charmed.
While charmed by this spell, the creature must use its action to make a ranged attack against the illusion on each of its turns. If the creature can not make a ranged attack, it must use its movement and its action to make a melee attack against the illusion. When a creature hits the illusion with an attack, it takes psychic damage equal to 1d6 + your spellcasting modifier. The illusion has an armor class of 10.
The creature can act normally on its turn if it is incapable of making an attack against the illusion. Also, the target can repeat the Charisma saving throw at the end of each of its turns, or whenever it takes damage.
On a success, the creature is no longer charmed, and is immune to being charmed by this spell until they finish a long rest.
At higher levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
