A nonmagical weapon you touch is engulfed in red Bloodflame. For the duration, the weapon deals an extra 1d4 fire damage when it hits. In addition, creatures that have blood experience painful, burning hemorrhaging at the site of the wound. For three turns after taking a hit from this spell, creatures will take fire damage equal to your spellcasting ability modifier (minimum of 1) at the beginning of their turn. The amount of turns left that a creature hemorrhages is reset to three if it is hit again before the countdown is finished, but the amount cannot exceed 3 turns.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th or 6th level, the extra damage increases to 2d4. When you use a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the extra damage increases to 3d4.

Posted Jul 6, 2024Wait this is actually really well made. Spells made from spells in media tend to be unbalanced, but this is great.
