Volcanic Storm

Chunks of hot volcanic rock and clumps of ash erupt from the earth at point you choose within range when this spell is cast. Each creature in a 20-foot radius centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 4d6 points of bludgeoning damage and 4d6 points of fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. This damage only occurs once. For the remaining duration, the area is considered heavily obscured as heavy ash rains down and the entire area is treated as difficult terrain.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th Level or higher, the fire damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
