You sweep your hands in front of you summoning a wave of acid moving away from you. Each creature in a 15 ft. cube originating from you must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 2d8 acid damage immediately and 1d6 acid damage at the start of its next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much of the initial damage and no damage at the start of its next turn.

This wave of acid washes around objects within the cube, but does not interact with them to cause damage. If an object is in between the origin and a creature (ex: a tipped over table), the wave reforms seamlessly on the other side of the object and still makes contact with the creature. The wave does not go through walls and closed doors, around corners, or into/out of solid closed containers.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the initial damage increases by 1d8 and the later damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
