Copy Script

Touching your material component to a combination of text and symbols, you produce a nonmagical copy written in ink or etching. Material used in this spell cannot be reused for it afterwards.

Depending on the size of what is being copied, the time required is as follows:

• A single word, sentence or similarly small script is copied instantly.
• A page requires a round; a collection of notes takes a minute.
• A book can take from 5 minutes to an hour, at the DM's discretion.

If the casting of the spell is interrupted(e.g. The material is separated from the target) the transcription stops at the equivalent point of the process.

The text gets transcribed into the user's handwriting, negating the potential power of signatures or symbols.
