Calling upon the energies of the frozen wastes of Stygia, you cast a beam of infernal magics at any creature or object taking up a 15-square-foot space. Nothing non-magical will be able stop or redirect the path of the hellish icy bolt. An unwilling creature must make a Dexterity Saving Throw against the spell. Should the creature fail, it is shrunken down into a small cube of ultra-compressed Stygian ice, at least two inches on any face, that can fit in the palm of one's hand. The magical ice-cube can not be defaced, crushed, or otherwise destroyed, and it will not melt under any circumstances. The entity subjected to this spell is quite literally frozen in place, and an creature experiences the status effects of being Unconscious. The creature affected will be removed from combat entirely, unless otherwise restored.
Dispel Magic, Lesser Restoration, or Greater Restoration will turn the cube into a normal block of ice, rendering any later attempts to restore the object to it's original form entirely null. To restore a creature or object to it's original form, douse the cube in [equipment]Holy Water[/equipment]. A restored creature must make a Constitution Saving Throw, or take 1d6 Cold damage. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage.
