Burning Buffer

The caster can choose one creature or themselves they can see and surround them with a fiery aura. While this aura is active, any creature that hits something that is surrounded by the aura with a melee attack will take 1d6 fire damage, and anyone with the aura who hits something with a melee attack will do an additional 1d6 fire damage to their target.

At higher levels, this spell affects one more creature in range.
