Blood Bolt

A ball of boiling blood, pulled from a creature within 10 feet of you which causes 1d4 slashing damage (this increases 1d4 per ball pulled from a creature i.e. 2 balls 2d4), streaks toward a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d12 force damage.

The spell creates pulls more blood from the target at higher levels, 2 balls at 3rd Level, 3 balls at 5th Level, 4 balls at 8th Level. Meanwhile, the damage scales at higher levels. At 4th Level damage uses 2d12, at 7th Level it is 3d12, and at 10th Level it is 4d12.
