Witch Bolt (Fixed)

You hurl a mote of crackling magical energy at a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d12 lightning damage, and it becomes marked with a witch bolt. As a Bonus Action, you can cause the target to take an additional 1d12 lightning damage at the end of its turn for each round that you maintain concentration on the spell.

If the target moves out of range, the spell ends. You can also end the spell as a bonus action.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the initial damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 1st.
