You weave together arcane symbols untill lightning begins to violently erupt from your hand, then focuses itself untill it appears that you hand has been transformed into a blade of pure lightning. This magic blade lasts until the spell ends. It counts as a melee finesse weapon that you are proficient with. It deals 2d10 lightning damage on a hit and has the finesse, light. In addition this weapon emits the sound of electricity crackling for up to 60 feet, also this weapon emits a bright light up to 10 feet and dim light up to 20 feet. 

This weapon also does an additional 1d6 piercing damage for every 5 feet you move while this spell is active. These damage die are reset after an attack is made using the lightning blade. (The damage die are reset regardless of if the attack hits or misses). 

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot higher than 1st level, the damage increases by 1d10 lightning damage.
